INGREDIENTS
FOR THE BLONDIES
1/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 white chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup pecans
1/4 cup whole flake oats (optional)
FOR THE ICING
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup powdered sugar
TO MAKE
1. Combine all wet ingredients, then mix in the dry in a large bowl.
2. Add chocolate and pecans, optional oats to top.
3. Bake at 350 for 23 minutes and let cool slightly.
4. Melt butter in a saucepan, then add maple syrup until combined.
Mix in powdered sugar until lumps are gone. Pour over blondies and enjoy!
